How TESOL certificate authentication works for Vietnam

Many schools and immigration offices in Vietnam ask foreign teachers to have their TESOL certificate notarized and legalized before it's used in a work permit application. Here's a general overview of how that process works.

Note: this page explains the general steps. It uses illustrative diagrams, not photos of real certificates. Requirements can vary by country of issue and by province in Vietnam — always confirm the exact steps with your employer or the Vietnamese consulate in your country.

Receive your original certificate

After completing your Luxentis VN course, you receive your digital certificate and, if requested, a printed copy.

Foreign teachers already residing in Vietnam can pay for their course locally by scanning a QR code, instead of an international card payment. We support three common options.

VNPay QR

  1. Open your Vietnamese bank's mobile app or e-wallet.
  2. Select the "QR Pay" or "Scan QR" feature.
  3. Scan the VNPay QR code we send you by email after your enrollment request.
  4. Confirm the amount and complete the payment in the app.

ZaloPay QR

  1. Open the Zalo app and go to the ZaloPay wallet, or open the ZaloPay app directly.
  2. Tap the "Scan QR" icon on the home screen.
  3. Scan the ZaloPay QR code we send you by email after your enrollment request.
  4. Check the amount and confirm the payment.

RedotPay QR

  1. Open the RedotPay app on your phone.
  2. Tap "Scan & Pay" from the home screen.
  3. Scan the RedotPay QR code we send you by email after your enrollment request.
  4. Confirm the merchant, the amount, and tap "Pay".
After you submit the enrollment form, our team will reply by email with the correct QR code and exact amount for your chosen course. Send us a screenshot of the completed payment so we can activate your access.
